How to set the lower thread

How to Remove from the Rotary Hook

For cylinder type, open the rotary hook cover.
Pinch the knob (latch) part of the bobbin case and remove it.

 

How to Set the Lower Thread in the Bobbin Case

Set the lower thread in a clockwise winding direction. Let the thread out 10 cm long.

Pass the lower thread through the slit in the bobbin.
Slide the thread up to the under-tension spring.

For coil type, wrap the thread around the coil twice.
Setup in the bobbin case is completed.

How to adjust the lower thread tension

Adjust the lower thread tension with a screwdriver if necessary.
・To reduce tension: Loosen the screw.
・To tighten tension: Tighten the screw.

How to attach to the rotary hook

Pull 3 to 5 cm of the lower thread out of the bobbin case and attach it.
Push the bobbin in until it “click.”
Setting of the lower thread is completed.
